So What Does Ted Cruz Dropping Out of The Race Mean?

I really don’t know to be honest.  But I will be talking my possible answers since I posted the question to y’all.  Well, it’s no secret that Ted Cruz is kind of an awful choice of presidential candidates, but 2016 will be known as the year of the awful choices. I was so glad that he had been holding up to Trump much better than initially expected, because as much as I find myself not a fan of the man, I was a fan of his ability to stand up to Trump.  Because at the end of the day there is this difference.  Trump is a bigot, a bully, sexist, xenophobic, racist, rich guy, who has no idea how the world works, but knows enough to know, that his opinions do nothing but create bad blood amongst the people’s of this great land of America, but more than that cause worldwide cringing, tongue-biting, and to some extent fear.  He was funny(in a make fun of him sort of way), fun to heckle, and a “no way in Hell is this real,” sort of candidate, but then he became a front runner, and never stopped.  And from front runner he is now the only candidate running for the nomination by the Good Old Party who hates his guts as well.  Cruz on the other hand, has some pretty crappy ideas, but they are honest to goodness what he believes to be great ideas.  He also lacks a little bit in the tact and diplomacy category,  but Trump doesn’t  have either of those qualities.  Trump is dangerous to our way of thinking, and dangerous to the future of our Republic, regardless of how corrupt many parts of the system already are.  He is a step into regression that we as Americans can’t afford to take.  But there is always the hope that the party will do the right thing and throw the nomination to someone else.

The other issue, however, is Hillary beating Bernie.  Which I might add, is a travesty.  Bernie is better liked, and although he has more support from us, the small people as it were,  she has more delegates, because she won the states that have more of them.  If you ask me, it should be decided by how many states you win, not which states you win.  Bernie has more experience than almost all of these crazy people put together, not to mention a stronger compassion for his fellow human beings, and a strange honesty that you don’t get out of many politicians. Trump and Hillary are both funded by SuperPacs, and if you ask me, should no longer be tolerated or allowed to happen.  I would put her on a pedestal so high above Trump, but I am not pleased by having to make such a crazy ass decision.

So in that scenario, isn’t the asshole businessman whose only real goal as president will be to make himself and others like him even richer, the person that these power elites will do everything they can to elect?  The answer is yes.  But don’t lose heart, these are merely shadows of what can be, if we do not get up off of our asses and encourage the rest of America to wake up and do the same.  We can not tolerate someone like Trump even having a fraction of a chance at the highest office in the land.  Remember Dubya?  This will be ten times even more disastrous than those  8 years were.
